Divorce has become more prevalent in families in our own community of Fenwick. Divorce is an experience that can cause a range of emotions in children. Children often feel scared, sad, and confused. They often hide their feelings or don't know how to express them. DC4K is a special group to help children heal from pain caused by separation or divorce. DC4K provides children with a safe and neutral place to recognize and learn to share their feelings. The group helps children learn that God's love strengthens them and helps them turn their sadness to hope and their anger to joy. Each week children will enjoy Christ centred activities, games, crafts, role playing, discussion times, and meditating on God's Word which helps them to process the divorce and move in the strength of the Lord.
